Your saved trips

The trip planner uses your browser’s local storage to remember trip names, dates, guest counts, saved places and notes on this device. No After Check-in account is required. Trips stay in that browser until you delete them or clear the site’s browser data; browser settings can also prevent or remove storage.

You can delete trips in the planner or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Exported JSON backups and PDFs are created on your device. Keep a backup if you want to move your plans to another browser or device.

Sharing a plan

A share link contains a copy of your trip, including its name, dates, guest counts and saved places. Personal notes are included when you select “Include personal notes”; custom place names remain part of the shared plan. Anyone with the link can read and copy its contents.

Shared links are snapshots. Editing or deleting your saved trip does not change a link or a copy you have already shared. Exported files can also contain your notes.

Booking links & affiliate disclosure

Some accommodation links are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying booking through one, After Check-in may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Our Stay22 links send the selected property or destination, travel dates, guest count and an affiliate attribution identifier to Stay22 and the booking provider. The provider handles your booking, payment and customer service under its own terms and privacy policy. Prices, availability, room details and entry conditions should be confirmed there before you book.

Hosting, analytics & external resources

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Network requests involve technical information such as your IP address, browser information and requested page. The live site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and page performance. Read about Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare’s privacy practices.

We also use a small first-party event counter, stored in Cloudflare Analytics Engine for up to three months, to understand actions such as opening a hotel, viewing booking options, following a booking link, or saving and exporting a plan. It records the destination and hotel identifiers, action, site version, a broad acquisition category and coarse trip-length or room-count groups. It uses no analytics cookies or visitor identifiers and does not send your trip name, notes, exact dates, email, shared link, full page URL or full referring URL. It respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. An IP address is used transiently to limit spam requests and is not stored in this event dataset.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, map software from unpkg, map tiles from OpenFreeMap when you open or reach the map, and some photos from the hosts identified in the image credits. When your browser loads those resources, it sends technical request information to those providers. Following a Google Maps route link also sends the selected places to Google Maps.
